Bangladesh Medical Education Fair 2026 will open doors for
Nepali students seeking medical degrees on January 17 at The Everest Hotel in
New Baneshwor, Kathmandu.
Bangladesh Embassy in Kathmandu is organizing the event,
which will run from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm with free entry for all visitors. Fair
aims to provide direct access to medical education opportunities in Bangladesh
for prospective Nepali students.
More than 20 reputed medical and dental colleges from
Bangladesh will participate through their representatives. Students and
guardians can gather detailed information on admission procedures, tuition fees
and available scholarships during the event.
Embassy stated that the fair will feature one-on-one
counselling sessions with college representatives. This arrangement allows
students to receive personalized guidance on pursuing medical studies in
Bangladesh, addressing individual queries about courses, facilities and career
prospects.
Organizers have encouraged interested participants to
register online in advance. Early registration will ensure smoother
coordination and better service during the event, according to embassy
officials.
Bangladesh has become an increasingly popular destination
for Nepali students seeking affordable medical education. Country offers MBBS
and BDS programmes at competitive fees compared to many other South Asian
nations. Several Bangladeshi medical colleges hold international
accreditations, making their degrees recognized globally.
Fair represents Bangladesh's growing educational diplomacy
in Nepal, strengthening bilateral ties through student exchange programmes.
Event provides Nepali families with comprehensive information to make informed
decisions about their children's medical education abroad.
