Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) conducted two-day passenger service and facilitation course at Cox's Bazar airport on December 17-18 to enhance service standards and meet international compliance requirements.

CAAB organized the training programme, which brought together officials and staff from various levels of the airport. Course aimed to improve passenger experience and align operations with global aviation standards.

Training covered both theoretical and practical aspects of passenger service, including security protocols, facilitation procedures and services for passengers with special needs. Participants received guidance on enhancing overall passenger satisfaction through improved service delivery.

Civil Aviation Academy supervisors conducted sessions focusing on international best practices in airport operations. Programme emphasized the importance of professional conduct and efficient passenger handling at one of Bangladesh's busiest tourist destinations.

All participants received certificates upon successfully completing the course. Training forms part of Bangladesh Civil Aviation Authority's ongoing efforts to upgrade service quality across domestic airports.

Cox's Bazar Airport serves as a crucial gateway for both domestic and international tourists visiting the world's longest natural sea beach. Enhanced staff training is expected to improve visitor experience during the peak tourist season.

Course reflects Civil Aviation Authority's commitment to maintaining international standards in passenger service and airport operations. Similar training programmes are planned for other airports across Bangladesh to ensure consistent service quality nationwide.
