The country's first and only "Arunima Floating Driving Range" is set to be inaugurated at the Arunima Resort Golf Club in Panipara, Narail, this afternoon at 4:00pm, marking what organisers describe as a new milestone in Bangladesh's golf and tourism sectors.

Khabir Uddin Ahmed, President of the Club Committee of Arunima Resort Golf Club, will attend the groundbreaking ceremony as chief guest.

Touhida Sultana, Chairman of the Welfare and Cultural Committee, and Imamul Hasan, Managing Director and CEO of Sampan Group, will attend as special guests. Irfan Ahmed, Chief Executive Officer of Arunima Resort Golf Club, will preside over the event.

Golfers and club members from various golf clubs across the country are also expected to attend the event.

Organisers hoped that once operational, the facility will bring a totally new experience to the country's golfing landscape and will play an important role in luring international golf tourism to Bangladesh.
