Aviation minister, state minister attended corporate iftar at Sonargaon hotel

Civil Aviation and Tourism minister Afroza Khanam Rita and state minister M Rashiduzzaman Millat attended corporate iftar programme at capital’s Pan Pacific Sonargaon.


It was informed through a press release sent by Tarikul Islam, the ministry’s information and public relations officer.


On Monday, programme began at 5 pm with participation from senior officials of ministry and Bangladesh Services Limited. Minister Rita served as chief guest while state minister Millat was special guest at gathering.


In her speech, Rita praised Pan Pacific Sonargaon for maintaining reputation and professionalism while contributing significantly to country’s tourism and hospitality sector development over many years.


She thanked organizers for arranging iftar gathering that brought everyone together during holy month.


State minister Millat emphasized that applying Ramadan’s teachings in daily life. “By holding the teachings of holy Ramadan in our lives, may we all work with dedication for the welfare of the country and its people”, Millat said.


Raffle draw was held with participation from all attendees following speeches.


Civil Aviation and Tourism ministry secretary Nasrin Jahan attended programme alongside Civil Aviation Authority Chairman Air Vice Marshal Mostafa Mahmud Siddique and other senior officials from ministry and Bangladesh Services Limited.


Pan Pacific Sonargaon has long been recognized as premier hospitality venue in Dhaka, regularly hosting government and corporate events. Hotel continues playing vital role in promoting country’s hospitality industry both domestically and internationally.


Event highlighted collaboration between government aviation authorities and private hospitality sector during Ramadan, tradition of hosting corporate iftar gatherings that bring together industry stakeholders.
