Cox’s Bazar Tourism Carnival 2026 to begin on November 15

DHAKA, Nov 5, 2026: The three-month-long Cox’s Bazar Tourism Carnival 2026 will begin on November 15 at the beach adjacent to Hotel Shaibal, with Tickify Limited appointed as the event’s exclusive online ticketing and experience-booking partner.

The carnival will be held under the theme “A New Wave of Experiences”. An agreement was signed between the organiser, Spellbound Communications Limited, and Tickify to formalise the partnership.

The partnership was announced at a press conference held on Thursday at the Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation building in Agargaon, Dhaka.

Md Gani Ul Azam, additional secretary to the government and director of the Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation, attended the event as the chief guest.

Mohammad Sadekul Arefeen, managing director and CEO of Spellbound Network, and Abdullah Al Mamun, chief operating officer of Tickify, were also present, along with other officials.

Organised by the Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation and implemented by Spellbound Communications Limited, the carnival is being described by its organisers as the country's first and largest beach carnival.

Spanning around 35 acres, the event will feature cultural performances, open-air film screenings, international-standard sand art, art and craft exhibitions, food and shopping facilities, children's entertainment, mini golf, go-karting, sports and camping activities.

International sand artists Paul and Remy Hoggard will also take part in special artistic activities.

The carnival aims to diversify tourism offerings in Cox’s Bazar while creating new opportunities for local entrepreneurs, small businesses, artisans and tourism service providers.

Under the agreement, Tickify will provide exclusive online ticketing, booking services for various experiences and activities, digital payment facilities and technological support for visitor entry management.

Ticket sales and entry services through both online and offline channels will begin on November 19, 2026, according to the press release.

A regular single-entry pass has been priced at Tk 200, while a same-day multiple-entry pass will cost Tk 500. Separate tickets will be required for selected experiences and activities.

The organisers expect the carnival to create new opportunities for the country's tourism industry and contribute to local economic activity, employment generation and the development of creative industries.
