NOVOAIR launches “Boarding Pass Privilege” scheme

One of the country's private airlines, NOVOAIR, has launched a “Boarding Pass Privilege” programme that allows passengers to use their boarding pass to get discounts and special benefits at partner businesses, the airline said in a press release on Thursday.

NOVOAIR said it is the first scheme of its kind in Bangladesh.

According to the release, the benefits cover lifestyle and fashion stores, restaurants, hotels, amusement parks, hospitals, and electronics retailers. Passengers can claim these benefits by showing their used boarding passes within seven days of their travel date.

Sohel Majid, NOVOAIR’s Director for Marketing and Sales, said the airline has tried from the start to ensure safe and comfortable travel and to introduce new services for passengers.

He said the scheme aims “to ensure passengers enjoy special benefits even after their journey ends”. He added that the airline will continue to introduce new passenger service initiatives.

The release said NOVOAIR has previously launched what it called the country’s first SMILES frequent flyer programme, along with a co-branded card, a mobile app, and web check-in.

The airline currently operates daily flights from Dhaka to Cox’s Bazar, Chattogram, Sylhet, and Saidpur.
