UTSSOB holds children’s art competition

The United Tourism Stakeholders Society of Bangladesh (UTSSOB) organised a children’s art competition titled “Children’s Colorful Canvas – World Tourism Day 2026” at Days Hotel Dhaka in Baridhara Diplomatic Zone on Saturday.

Students from Classes 6 to 10 took part in the competition, creating artworks inspired by tourism, nature, destinations, culture and heritage.

Myanmar Ambassador to Bangladesh U Kyaw Soe Moe attended the prize-giving ceremony as chief guest and handed prizes to the winners. He congratulated the participants and encouraged them to continue developing their creativity.

UTSSOB President H. M. Hakim Ali said engaging children with tourism and cultural heritage from an early age could help foster appreciation for Bangladesh’s natural beauty, historical heritage and cultural traditions.

He also stressed the importance of promoting creativity and awareness of responsible tourism among young people.

The event was organised as part of UTSSOB’s efforts to promote tourism awareness, cultural values and creative engagement among children. HospiAsia.com powered the initiative.
