Brazilian aerospace manufacturer Embraer is set to exhibit two of its military aviation platforms at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) in Kuala Lumpur from April 20 to 23, as the company seeks to expand its presence in the Asia-Pacific defence market.
The company said it would highlight the KC-390 Millennium, a multi-mission military transport aircraft, and the A-29 Super Tucano, a light attack and advanced trainer aircraft, at the four-day event.
In a statement, Embraer said its participation underscored its commitment to delivering solutions that address current operational demands while anticipating the future requirements of operators across the Asia-Pacific region.
The exhibition comes as defence procurement activity in the Asia-Pacific continues to grow, with several nations in the region investing in the modernisation of their air forces.
Embraer did not disclose further details regarding scheduled demonstrations, bilateral meetings or any anticipated commercial announcements tied to the event.
Embraer is one of the world's largest commercial aircraft manufacturers and has a significant defence portfolio, with the KC-390 and A-29 Super Tucano operated by several air forces globally.
