Nusuk card distribution for Hajj pilgrims begins today

Bangladesh on Monday to hold the official inauguration of the first-ever Nusuk card distribution for Hajj pilgrims, marking an important milestone in the country's private management of the annual Islamic pilgrimage.
The launching ceremony is scheduled at 5:00 pm today (Monday) at the Recreation Hall of the Fars Hotel & Resort in Dhaka's Purana Paltan area, bringing together senior government officials and representatives from Saudi Hajj service organisations.
The Nusuk Card, linked to Saudi Arabia's Nusuk platform, is designed to streamline the pilgrimage experience for Bangladeshi nationals by providing a more organized, secure, and efficient system for managing Hajj-related services.
Religious Affairs Minister Kazi Shah Mofazzal Houssain (Kaikobad) will attend the event as chief guest.
Special guests include Civil Aviation and Tourism State Minister M. Rashiduzzaman Millat; Information and Broadcasting State Minister Yeaser Khan Choudhury; and the Prime Minister's adviser and spokesperson of the Prime Minister's Office, Dr. Mahdi Amin, among others.
Guests of honour will include Ehsan Kateb, Senior Vice President of Rawaf Mina, and Luay Faisal Abdullah Khan, Head of Rawaf Mina Service Centre.
Also in attendance will be officials from the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the Hajj Agencies Association of Bangladesh (HAB), and various other relevant organisations.
Bangladesh is among the countries with a significant Hajj quota, sending tens of thousands of pilgrims to Saudi Arabia each year.
