Prime Minister Tarique Rahman will inaugurate this year’s Hajj flights from Dhaka at 2:00 am on April 18, State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism M. Rashiduzzaman Millat confirmed it today.

“The inaugural Hajj flight this year will be officially launched by Honorable Prime Minister Mr. Tarique Rahman at 2:00 am on April 18,” according to an official circulation quoted by the state minister.   

Millat said that, compared to the previous government, the cost of Hajj travel has been reduced by Tk 12,000 per ticket this year. 

Beside, he said that more than 78,000 pilgrims will be transported without operating any chartered flights.
